International Yoga Day Celebrated at Chaitanya International School, Indori


Chaitanya International School, Indori (CBSE) celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm. Students and teachers participated in yoga asanas, Surya Namaskar, and meditation, highlighting yoga’s importance for physical and mental health. The session was led by Art of Living trainers Mrs. Sarita Hasurkar and Mr. Dheeraj Raste, along with other members. The event started with a yoga prayer and concluded with Pasaydan.
Deputy Sarpanch of Indori Grampanchayat, Mr. Sandeep Natak, attended as the chief guest, inspiring attendees by emphasizing yoga as a daily practice. The school’s founder, Mr. Bhagwant Shevkar, and Principal, Mrs. Hemlata Khedkar, also expressed their commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle among students. The school’s dedication to holistic education and student well-being was evident through this initiative.

Teacher Training(Spiritual Workshop) - Academic Year (2024-25)

In a bid to foster holistic development among educators, Chaitanya International School, Indori, hosted a transformative spiritual workshop designed exclusively for its teaching staff. The event, held within the serene confines of the school campus, aimed to equip teachers with valuable tools to enhance their emotional well-being and spiritual growth.

The workshop, facilitated by renowned mentor Mr. Amol Ubale Sir. This will be the series of 6 enlightening sessions filled with introspective sessions and practical exercises.

The workshop will provide a safe space for educators to explore their inner selves and connect with their deeper purpose in teaching.

National Science Day celebration

National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28th each year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. It is an occasion to recognize the importance of science and its role in our daily lives. Our school, Chaitanya International School, Indori, celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm, aiming to foster scientific temper and curiosity among students. The highlight of our celebration was a science experiment where one student demonstrated a working model of infinite fountain which works on the basis of air pressure. One child represented a water cycle project and some junior students recited a poem based on the topic states of matter. The National Science Day celebration at Chaitanya International School, was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation of students, teachers, and staff. It provided a platform for students to appreciate the wonders of science and sparked their curiosity to explore further. As we reflect on the significance of this day, we are reminded of the pivotal role that science plays in shaping the world around us. We look forward to nurturing the spirit of scientific inquiry and discovery in our school community throughout the year.

Surya Namskar Sankalp Poorti Utsav (2023 -24)

We are delighted to share that today we have successfully completed a series of 108 Sooryanamaskaar event in Chaitanya International School (CBSE), Indori. The sankalp was taken on Rathasaptami day and today on 24th February was its culmination day. The day was filled with excitement, joy, and a sense of accomplishment. Vasant Panchami, also known as the birth anniversary of Hindu Goddess Saraswati, is a Hindu festival celebrated in various parts of India. It usually falls in the Hindu calendar month of Magha, which typically corresponds to January or February in the Gregorian calendar. This festival marks the arrival of spring and is dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, who is revered as the deity of knowledge, wisdom, arts, and music. The farewell party for Grade X students was organized by grade IX students to bid adieu to the outgoing batch and to celebrate their journey and achievements during their time at Chaitanya International School (CBSE). Indori.

t was the occasion of Shree Gagan giri Maharaj Palkhi utsav which was observed at Chaitanya International School (CBSE), Indori on 2nd February 2024. 

It was an electrifying atmosphere all over the school premises as children welcomed Palkhi with dhol, tasha and Lezium displays. 

Three dance performances by our school children mesmerized each one in the gathering.

Paadya pooja, Haripath and then Aarti, made the atmosphere auspicious. 

People of Indori, parents and students all of them came in huge number and made were blessed by Shree Gagan giri maharaj.

At the end everyone had Mahaprasad.

Chief guest of the day was Mr. Rohit Chaphekar who unfurled the tri colour along with the chairman Mr. Bhagwan Shevkar.

The wonderful march past presented by the students of grades VI to IX and two spectacular dance performances attracted everyone towards them.

Annual Gathering (तपपूर्ती) 2023-24

Annual Day (तपपूर्ती) of Chaitanya International School (CBSE), Indori was concluded with immersive celebration of creativity and talent on Monday 22nd January 2024.

The young performers in ‘THE MOSAIC OF CULTURES’ and ‘NETRUTVA’ captivated the audience by a kaleidoscope of performances that showcased their boundless talent and artistic spirit . The stage was set to be a canvas where events came to life, and each act and dance successfully became a brushstroke on the masterpiece of the Annual Day 2023 – 24.

Swami Vivekanand Jayanti (12 Jan 2024)

“Arise, Awake and stop not until the goal is achieved.”

These lines were given by one of the greats of all time Swami Vivekananda.

Chaitan International School (CBSE), Indori celebrated Swami Vivekananda Birth anniversary as youth day.

The programme began with a thought by one of the students who was dressed up a Swami Vivekananda followed by one speech in english.

One of the teachers shared a story based on Swami Ji’s life.

Session ended with guided meditation by Chairman sir.

Today is Rajmata Jijau’s birth anniversary as well.

We all at Chaitanya International School bow down to both the greats and will always try to follow the path shown by them.

Kartiki Ekadashi Celebration (9 Dec 2023)

Bolava Vitthal Pahala Vitthal.

Kartiki Ekadashi was celebrated with full zest and fervour at Chaitanya International School, Indori on 9th Dec 2023.

The celebrations started with a mesmerizing Lezium display by girls followed by traditional Phugadi performance.

The main attraction of the day was the Palkhi utsav. All the students and staff walked along with palkhi till the temple near the school.

The atmosphere was mesmerising with dhol and tasha.The chanting of vitthal naam brought the different level of energy.

Diwali Celebration 2023

सहस्त्र ज्योति दीपोत्सव (Diwali Celebration) at Chaitanya International School, Indori.

From darkness to the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds, that which brings us closer to divinity; lights illuminate every corner of India during Diwali and the scent of incense sticks hang in the air,mingled with the sounds of fire-crackers, joy, togetherness and hope.

The celebration of Diwali,’The festival of lights’ came alive at CIS,Indori when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors.

Chaitanya International school (CBSE), Indori celebrated this Diwali with a unique  Diya Darshan, “Sahastra Diya Festival”. The campus was lit with the flames of more than 2000 earthen Diyas which has ignited the heart and soul of the onlookers.

Navratri Celebration

Chaitanya International School (CBSE),Indori, celebrated Navratri and Dussehra festival with great zeal, enthusiasm and spiritualism to commemorate and invoke the blessings of Goddess Durga in her various forms.

On this religious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra,special  assemblies were conducted   on all days to understand the true meaning of all 9 forms of Goddess Durga.

Apart from this,there were fun games organized for the children by the children to inculcate the leadership quality in them.

The splendid celebration of Navratri concluded with the graceful Garba Dance by teachers, children and parents . 

The positivity and energy exuberating out of the colourful costumes combined with the enthusiasm of dancing to the folk garba songs made the entire atmosphere energetic and the efforts fruitful.

Chaitanya International School, Indori celebrated Janmashtami festival in very unique way.

As we all know Lord Krishna’s life was full of mysterious incidences.
Students of CIS,depicted few of Lord Krishna’s life incidences through mannequin Acts.

It was an inter house competition.

Agni house represented Krishna raising Govardhan parvat.

Jal house represented the Vasudeva carrying infant Krishna on head through Yamuna river.

Pruthvi house showed Kaliya mardan incident.

Vayu house expressed the meeting of lord Krishna and bhakt Sudama through their still performance.

देश में हिंदी भाषा को और बढ़ावा देने के लिए १४ सितंबर को देश भर में हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है। भारत एक विविधतापूर्ण देश है जहां सभी लोग अलग-अलग भाषाओं, विभिन्न रीति-रिवाजों का पालन करते हैं। देश की ७७ प्रतिशत आबादी हिंदी बोलती, समझती और लिखती है और तो और हिंदी दुनिया में तीसरी सबसे अधिक बोली जाने वाली भाषा भी है।
प्रति वर्ष इस दिन शिक्षण संस्थानों में विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाता है, इसी संदर्भ में चैतन्य चैरिटेबल फाउंडेशन द्वारा संचालित चैतन्य इंटरनेशनल स्कूल (सीबीएसई), इंदोरी मे १४ सितंबर २०२३ को उत्साह के साथ हिंदी दिवस मनाया।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सुबह प्रार्थना सभा से हुई। बाद में कक्षा 6 की छात्रा सिमरन ने अपने भाषण के माध्यम से हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को समझाया। बाद में, कक्षा दूसरी की छात्रा प्रणवी महाजन ने हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को व्यक्त करने के लिए एक कविता का पठान किया।
तत्पश्चात कनिष्का शिंदे ने दोहा गायन की प्रस्तुति दी। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण एक लघु नाटिका और कक्षा 6 से 8 के छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत एक सुंदर समूह नृत्य था। दोनों प्रस्तुतियों को उपस्थित लोगों से शानदार प्रतिक्रिया मिली। इसके बाद छात्रों ने ‘हम होंगे कामयाब’ गीत गाया। कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ।
हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर संस्था के अध्यक्ष श्री भगवान शेवकर सर और प्राचार्या श्रीमती जेसी रॉय ने हिंदी विभाग प्रमुख श्री अमोल धिमधिमे सर, पूरे संकाय, गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों और छात्रों को शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित की।

Sports is an integral part of human existence.We at Chaitanya International School,give equal importance to sports along with academics.

Students of CSI,Indori participated in different interschool sports and games competitions organised by DSO .

In that sequence on 12th and 13th of September 2023, Girls of U 14 and Boys of U 17 category played 5 matches of Kabaddi, vigorously and eventually brought laurels to the institution.

They played with their hearts out and showed sportsman spirit and proved their mettle.

Students showcased their talent and proved their mettle to win the quiz.

Respected Chairman sir and Principal ma’am congratulated all the participants for showcasing the sportsman spirit.

If there is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance, patience in fact what constitutes a perfect character, it is sports.

Chaitanya International School, Indori has organized Inter House sports competition on Saturday 8th October 2023 as a part of their regular calendar activities.The participants of all four houses participated and showed their strength on the ground.

For grade 1 & 2,there was balancing competition.

For grades 3 to 5 it was three legged race.

For grades 6 to 10, it was Kabaddi competition.

All the students gave their 100% and tried to win better ranks for their houses.

Fancy dress competition not only blends learning with fun but also develops confidence in students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their own classmates.

To celebrate this fun-filled learning activity, children of Nursery,LKG and UKG participated in a fancy dress competition on 10th October 2023.

The medium could not limit the creativity of the parents who dressed children with boundless imagination.

Children also participated with a lot of enthusiasm and displayed their confidence while speaking. Their innocent words and stage presence won the hearts of teachers and judges.
The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
